Nerja
Whenever we get the chance we like to spend a couple of weeks in
our favourite Spanish resort of Nerja on the
Costa del Sol. It has a subtropical climate, is surrounded by the
Almijara Mountains and boasts 16 kilometres of sandy beaches.
The best beach is Burriana with its fine sand and warm sea where
all kinds of water and underwater activities go on all year round.
The open-air beach paella restaurant is to be experienced to be
believed. This is Spain at it's best - a family resort, not big
enough to attract the “lively” element and not too small to deprive
it of atmosphere. The magnificent Caves are a must on the
sightseeing list with Granada and
Gibraltar not too far away. We always book direct - both accommodation and flights so please hit the
links to see for yourself.
Pictured here is Los Pinos, a delightful urban development behind
the famous Burriana Beach.
